Kia ora my name is Shay. I am a year eight student from Paihia School.
My mum is from Hokianga and my dad is from England.

I am in a class of sixty. My teachers’ names are Whaea Becks, Whaea Chrissy,
Gina and Whaea Ronnie. My brother Cahlay is ten and my other brother Kyle is eight.

I am good at showing examples of what I've learnt instead of talking about it. I enjoy doing art.
My goal is to be a famous soccer player. I find it challenging to stay on task and not to be
distracted by my friends. I need to improve this so I can become a high standard learner.

This year I am looking forward to athletics and making new friends. I like sharing my learning on my blog
because I get feedback and this helps me to learn.
