Maori

In Te Ngahere we have been learning the name of things in our class in maori. It was tricky for a while because it was hard to remember the names of objects. Then we were practising asking each other He aha tenei? That means what is this and then the other person ses He pene tena that means that is a pen now i'm going to start using the maori words.

Te Reo,

In class we have been doing Te Reo for fruit, class objects, stuff in a kitchen and diner and we had to eat some fruit, pepper, salt and different stuff. We all had to decide if it was sweet or sour and my favorite was the lemon. We learnt this with Whaea Lisa and the maori words for sour or sweet were He tino reka and He tino kawa.
